Posting or Connecting?

There’s a difference between posting and connecting.
Marketing isn’t just about what you say — it’s about who you’re speaking to, and how you make them feel when they see your name pop up.

When you start with people — your neighbours, your customers, your community — everything you share starts to mean something.

Don’t start with, “What should I say?”
Start with, “Who am I saying it to?”

Are you wanting to simply post something for the sake of posting something; or are you looking to connect with your customers… your community… your people?

The goal isn’t just to get likes — it’s to make someone feel something.
To make them pause for half a second and think, “That’s my place.”

Anyone can post.
A photo of a coffee cup. A sale announcement. A “Happy Friday!” graphic.
That’s easy.

But connection — real connection — takes more than content. It takes care.

Are you looking to just post or are you looking to connect?
